Finoways Onboarding: Sign-Up to Broker Connection
Finoways onboarding takes a client from selecting a suitable software plan through setup, configuration and connection to the client’s own brokerage account. Finoways provides algorithmic trading software and research tools, but it does not open, fund, hold or manage the brokerage account. Your capital remains with the broker you select, and orders are executed through that account.
The exact technical steps depend on the market, broker, trading platform and software configuration involved. A terminal-based setup may differ from an authorised application programming interface connection, for example. The central principle is the same: establish your own broker account, configure the applicable connection securely, define risk controls and test the setup before considering live trading.
What to prepare before beginning onboarding
Preparing a few items in advance can make the process more efficient. You should know which market you want to trade, whether your existing broker supports that market, and whether the broker’s platform is technically compatible with the selected setup.
- An active email address and phone number: Use contact details you monitor so that you can receive onboarding and support communications.
- Your preferred market: Finoways builds tools for FOREX, COMEX and US markets. Each market has different contract specifications, trading hours and risk considerations.
- Your own brokerage account: The account should be active and capable of trading the instruments you intend to use. Broker approval, identity verification and funding are handled directly between you and your broker.
- A suitable device and internet connection: Technical requirements depend on the selected software and platform. Confirm the applicable requirements before installation.
- A risk budget: Decide how much account equity you are prepared to risk per position and in total. This is different from deciding how much you hope to earn.
It is also important to review plan information, terms and applicable charges before paying. Current plan details are available on the Finoways pricing page.

Step 1: Select a plan based on your intended use
Begin with the market and type of assistance you require rather than choosing solely on price. A trader researching currency pairs may need a different configuration from someone trading COMEX contracts or US-market instruments.
Read what is included, the subscription period and any technical prerequisites. Software access does not remove the need for a compatible broker or trading platform. It also does not mean that every instrument offered by every broker can automatically be connected.
If you are uncertain about a feature, ask before completing payment. General answers about services and account setup may also be available in the frequently asked questions.
Step 2: Complete sign-up through an official website
Start onboarding through finoways.com or another official Finoways website. Official company emails end in @finoways.com. Avoid sending sensitive information in response to unsolicited messages or through an unverified website.
Provide only the information reasonably requested for the service and onboarding process. Finoways never requires a trading deposit, broker password or a fee to release a withdrawal. Your broker may have its own identity and account-opening requirements, but those processes occur directly with the broker.
Finoways LLC is licensed by the Sharjah Media City Free Zone Authority in the UAE under business licence no. 2322718.01. Its activities include services auxiliary to financial services, investment advisory services, financial advisory and analysis, and educational support and consultancy. It is not a broker, bank or fund.
Step 3: Confirm the plan and complete payment
Before paying, check that the company name, service, price and subscription term match what you intend to purchase. Payments are accepted only to the Fino Ways LLC company bank account shown on an official invoice or through the payment page on finoways.com, where the stated payment options are available.
Payment for a software plan is separate from funding a trading account. Brokerage capital should be sent only to the client’s own broker using the broker’s official deposit process. It is not sent to Finoways.
Keep the invoice, payment confirmation and related correspondence. These records help identify the purchased service and can be useful if you later have an account or billing question.
Step 4: Prepare your own broker account
You are responsible for selecting a broker and opening the brokerage account in your name. Consider the broker’s market access, platform support, costs, contract specifications, order types and local availability. Broker selection should not be based solely on leverage or promotional claims.
Make sure the account is enabled for the instruments you intend to trade. A FOREX-enabled account, for example, does not necessarily provide access to exchange-traded commodity or US-market products. Instrument names can also differ between platforms, so symbol mapping must be checked during setup.
Finoways does not hold or manage client funds, and clients retain access to their own accounts. Connecting software to an account does not transfer ownership of the account or turn Finoways into the broker or counterparty.
Step 5: Install or configure the applicable software
The technical procedure depends on the selected service and the broker’s supported connection method. Follow the onboarding instructions supplied for your configuration rather than applying generic instructions from an unrelated platform.
A setup may involve a compatible trading terminal, an authorised technical connection or other platform-specific configuration. Where an access key or permission system is used, review what the permission allows. Use the minimum permissions required and avoid enabling transfer or withdrawal access when it is not necessary for trading functionality.
Never send your broker password to Finoways. If your broker platform requires credentials, enter them only into the broker’s official application or the correctly verified local environment described in the setup instructions. Enable the broker’s available security controls, such as login alerts or multi-factor authentication, where supported.
Step 6: Configure instruments and risk controls
A successful connection is only a technical milestone. Before any order is allowed, review the trading symbols, position size, stop-loss logic, maximum simultaneous exposure and the times when the system may operate.
How lot size changes risk
Suppose a hypothetical currency position uses a 20-pip stop. If the selected trade size produces a pip value of $1, the planned price risk is approximately $20 before spreads, commissions, slippage and currency conversion. If the size is doubled and all other factors remain unchanged, the price risk approximately doubles to $40.
This example is for explanation only. Actual pip value depends on the currency pair, lot size, account currency and current price. COMEX and US-market instruments use their own tick values, contract multipliers and minimum price movements, which should be checked in the broker’s contract specifications.
How a stop loss should be checked
A stop loss is normally placed on the side of the market that invalidates the trade idea: below the entry for a long position or above the entry for a short position. It should not be selected only to achieve a preferred lot size.
After placing a test order, verify that the stop appears in the broker platform at the intended price and for the correct quantity. A stop is not a guarantee of execution at its exact trigger price. Fast markets, gaps, rejected orders or connection problems can produce a different result.
Step 7: Test the connection before live deployment
Where a suitable demo, simulation or other test environment is available, use it to check basic order behaviour. Simulation cannot reproduce every live-market condition, but it can reveal configuration errors.
- Confirm that the software is connected to the intended brokerage account and environment.
- Check that each configured symbol maps to the correct broker instrument.
- Verify buy and sell direction, position quantity and permitted order types.
- Confirm that stop-loss and other protective instructions appear correctly.
- Test how the setup behaves after a terminal restart or temporary connection interruption.
- Review the broker’s order history and statements rather than relying on a single software screen.
Do not assume that successful historical analysis or demo operation predicts live results. Spreads, liquidity, latency, slippage and order rejection can differ in actual trading.
Step 8: Move to live use cautiously
If you decide to use the setup with real capital, begin with exposure that you can afford to lose. Monitor the first sessions closely and compare software activity with the orders, positions and balances shown by your broker.
Pause operation if you see an unexpected instrument, incorrect quantity, missing protective order or repeated connection error. Investigate the cause before restarting. Increasing trade size should be a deliberate risk decision, not an automatic response to a winning or losing period.
Algorithmic software still requires human oversight. Broker maintenance, market closures, contract expiry, symbol changes and device interruptions may affect operation. Keep your broker contact details available because only the broker can resolve account-level execution, balance or withdrawal matters.
Support during and after onboarding
Finoways support is available Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:30 UAE time. Clients can use info@finoways.com or call +971-525908185 for applicable service and setup questions.
When requesting technical help, describe the issue clearly and include non-sensitive information such as the market, platform, error wording and the step at which the problem occurred. Do not email broker passwords, one-time codes or unrestricted account credentials. For account-specific funding, withdrawal or trade-execution questions, contact your broker directly.
What onboarding does not mean
- It does not mean Finoways takes custody of your trading capital.
- It does not make Finoways your broker, bank, fund manager or trade counterparty.
- It does not guarantee that an algorithm will be profitable.
- It does not eliminate slippage, gaps, platform failures or market risk.
- It does not replace your responsibility to monitor the account and understand each configured risk limit.
- It does not include personalised investment advice or a promise that a particular setup is suitable for your financial circumstances.
The purpose of careful onboarding is to reduce avoidable setup errors and make responsibilities clear. It cannot remove the uncertainty inherent in financial markets.
Trading FOREX, COMEX and US-market instruments carries a risk of loss, and algorithmic tools cannot guarantee results. Use only risk capital, understand your broker’s contract terms and read the Finoways risk disclosure before trading.
Frequently asked questions
Does Finoways open or fund my broker account during onboarding?
No. You open and fund your own brokerage account directly with the broker you choose. Finoways does not hold, manage or receive client trading funds.
Do I need to give Finoways my broker password?
No. Finoways never asks for your broker password. Follow the verified setup instructions for the applicable platform and enter credentials only in the broker's official application or correctly verified local environment when required.
Can I connect any broker account to Finoways software?
Compatibility depends on the broker, platform, market and selected software configuration. Confirm technical compatibility and supported instruments before purchasing or attempting a connection.
Should I test the setup before using real money?
Yes, where an appropriate demo or simulation environment is available. Testing can identify incorrect symbols, quantities and order settings, although simulated performance does not predict live trading results.
Does completing onboarding guarantee trading profits?
No. Onboarding confirms setup and configuration steps; it cannot guarantee performance. Market movement, spreads, slippage, execution conditions, system interruptions and position sizing can all affect results.
